Cheddar Valley MP James Heappey chaired a public meeting in Badgworth with representatives from BT and the Connecting Devon and Somerset Programme to meet with local residents to discuss the superfast broadband roll out and the plan to upgrade villages that had missed out in Phase One.
"There was a really great turnout at the public meeting on the broadband roll out this evening. So much frustration from villagers in Badgworth, Biddisham, Weare, Somerset, Chapel Allerton, Stone Allerton, Cross, Somerset and Compton Bishop," James said. "No matter what the success of the Government funded roll out elsewhere, those left without are feeling understandably angry. Thank you to all who came especially Connecting Devon and Somerset and BT UK for taking the time to hear people's complaints and answer questions."
