Wells MP James Heappey hosted a long-awaited residents meeting in the city across two new developments to iron out a host of issues.
Mr Heappey had been contacted by a number of residents concerned by the delays to certain promises regarding improvements and unfinished work in the Bishops Brook and Vicarage Fields estates.
The meeting was attending by the homeowners, as well as representatives from the developer Crest Nicholson, and the County Council.
Mr Heappey said: “I was pleased to get everyone in one place to find a solution moving forward. The key was to create clear timelines and establish which organisation was responsible for which part of the development which needed finishing.
“Communication was key, and certain things needed to be out forward as a priority. I was very grateful to the developer and the council for attending, as I realise these meetings are not always easy.
“I will continue to facilitate communication between the residents and those who can improve things. I hope we can all see improvements sooner rather than later as some of these things have been five or six years in the waiting”
