James Heappey met with Avon and Somerset's Superintendent Richard Turner, alongside Chief Inspector Justin French and Inspector Elaine Costanza to discuss a range of issues in the Wells Constituency.
These included the challenges of anti-social behaviour in Cheddar, the impact of the relaxation of restrictions, as well as the importance of enforcement against illegal encampments in both Burnham-on-Sea and Glastonbury. This follows a meeting Mr Heappey had last week with the Policing Minister in Westminster.
Following the meeting, he said: "The force is doing some fantastic work to keep us all safe and I was grateful to have some time to discuss policing in Somerset."
