Following the awful attack on Jo Cox MP today, both Vote Leave and Stronger In have suspended all campaigning and encouraged supporters not to participate in any debates. Accordingly, I have cancelled tonight’s debate on the EU referendum in Cheddar. I apologise for any inconvenience caused, especially anyone who had a wasted journey to Cheddar, but I am sure that everyone in the Wells Constituency will join me in praying that Jo Cox is ok.
