"Here's the PM's letter to the EU triggering Article 50. To some this letter is a cause for celebration to others it will cause dismay. But whichever way you voted last year, do take the time to read the letter in full.
I think it is a very fair and honest assessment of the challenge that lies ahead. We're not making unnecessary threats but we are being clear on our priorities. So too are we stressing again and again that it is in the mutual interests of the UK and EU to forge... a deep and special relationship.
There is a great deal of work still to be done and there will be some fierce debate over how different parts of Brexit will be delivered but today's letter surely compels us to now get on with crunching that detail rather than arguing over the initial referendum result."
