Cheddar MP James Heappey visited Ocean Adventures in the village to get an update on the business and how it is bouncing back from the challenges of the pandemic and increased costs.
Owner Tom Filer was clear the increased energy costs have impacted the award-winning play centre. However, they were also pleased with the support they have received over the past few months.
Mr Heappey said: "I know so many good businesses have had to deal with a plethora of challenges over the past few years, and it was great to see Tom and the team doing so well. They provide a brilliant option for parents to bring their children to in and out of the school holidays.
"I will continue to represent the business community in Parliament. They keep our local economy going and have had to ride through some tough times. I sincerely hope they are now seeing light at the end of the tunnel."
