Wells MP James Heappey marked Remembrance Day in both Somerset and Westminster this week, as the country remembers those who sacrificed their lives to ensure our freedoms.
Not only does it mark the end of World War I, but it is a chance to remember everyone who has served the country and paid the ultimate price to keep us safe.
On Monday, Mr Heappey sold poppies in Brent Knoll, before planting a cross in Westminster on behalf of the Wells constituency.
Mr Heappey said: "Remembrance Day always means an awful lot to me. And to be able to attend services and mark moments in both Westminster and Somerset is a real privilege.
"I hope all the services across the country are a huge success and I look forward to being in Shepton Mallet and Cheddar on Sunday."
